About this course

What you'll Learn

An introduction to ecological cultivation for clean, safe and free food all year round in a small area. This 2-day workshop gives all the information and practice needed to start your own food production.

Design of growing area (gardens, balconies, rooftops); Planting beds and containers; Soil fertility and structure; Fertilisation and irrigation; Crop selections and combinations; Continuous harvesting all year; Plant propagation (seeds, cuttings, bulbs and tubers); Crop care and management

Thursday 5:30pm: Arrival, settle, set up tent | 7:00pm: Dinner | Friday 9am–5pm: Course | Saturday 9am–5pm: Course | 6:00pm: Departure

Good to Know

Stay and Meals

Accommodation

Camping-based. Participants bring own tent. Tent + mattress available for extra fee. 2 family rooms (2 bunk-beds each) available by priority/availability.

Food

3 meals/day (Jordanian cuisine) + 2 tea breaks. Ingredients organic and locally sourced when possible.

Regular: 175 JD | Tent + mattress: +10 JD | Family room: +25 JD | Payment by bank transfer
